My name is Elise and I am a 21 year old student artist at the University of California, Berkeley. I am very lucky to go to Berkeley because I was able to create my own major called Art for Environmental Education.
“Soo, what are you gonna do with that?”
Make art to teach about the earth!!!
For my senior project I plan to make a series of children’s books that convey nature and animals in engaging, playful ways. I hope to help in the movement to bridge the gap between art and science, making learning more accessible to all.
As you may see through my website, I love to explore as many mediums of creativity as possible 🙂 (treeeativity** hehe). I am a spirited and curious person with a lot of love for others and nature. Oh yeah, and I love to have fun! Haha
On this website I explain the processes behind my work and try to reflect on what I learned as often as I can. As a learning artist, there have been times I’ve felt really lost and alone. I hope that my posts can be a source of guidance and inspiration for those interested in art. If I could help everyone in the world find a little spark of creativity in themselves I would ❤
So that’s a little about me. I’ll let the art do the rest of the talking 🙂
Wishing you boundless love and peace,
